Does anyone out there in seabreeze land do antenna or satelite dish installs? Or know of someone who does.

I'm trying to get a windmeter installed on the roof of my apartment block to replace the South Narra meter that got zapped by lightening earlier in the year. The Strata management won't let us back on the roof, and we are required to use someone who has the professional qualifications etc to get onto the roof. If there is someone out there who can do the job for a couple of cases of beer, we have all the hardware etc.

Access to the roof is by step ladder from the 3rd floor balcony, and the extension pipe we have can bolt onto the existing TV antenna, so it is pretty straightforward, but one of the neighbors is watching like a hawk to report me if I don't get someone qualified to do the work.

Once the windmeter is up it will be hooked into seabreeze for all to see (and probably be disappointed at the crap wind on the northern beaches). The quote I have from a professional is $385, so I wanted to check if anyone can help out for less.

PM me if you can help.

Cheers
Gav

hang a flag or towel out the window .If its flappin its windy if it isn't flappin the wind stopped
or invest in a weather rock and hang it from the street sign, you get more weather features too
if its wet its raining
If its dry and hot its sunny
if its going from side to side its windy
if its on the ground in lots of pieces its been zapped by lightning and so on
