I think you've missed my point Saffer.
Bindings in kiteboarding are so you can hold more power, therefore being able to ride larger boards, edging harder which equates to more pop for wakestyle moves.
Riding bindings for boosting air defeats the purpose. If boosting is your thing then bindings are going to work against you in the sense that there is added weight in any case. Not to mention it is a good way to blow a knee if you egg your landing.
I've nothing against any persons style of riding, people should ride the way they get most enjoyment from the sport, but this is a contradiction in terms.
You don't use a hammer to drill a hole do you?
