I have started this thread for those interested in wing masts, solid sails, and various other combinations of these. As there seems to be quite a lot of interest in the subject. Just trying to keep it in one spot rather than scattered through out seabreeze.

tried that years ago with french widsurfer sails was a waste of money then and nothings changed much since then, all pipe dreams as for wings yes have had a dvd for the last 6 mths ,very interesting,
Here are some pics of the latest style of sailboard sails for speed sailing.. have a look at the size of the luff pocket, to try and create a sailcloth type of wing.
