Not pimping these as they speak for themselves but mainly that they are impossible to get in Aussie this year and they have always been a sparse item in previous years anyway.
Anyway after extensive searching I found a supplier that has a few pairs I and a few mates have ordered some from him.

If anyone is interested in purchase details shoot me a PM.

I remember when I started with Rob Gannon he used to have one and I searched every where for them and I couldn't find any!
Are they Comfy?
It seems like the hook is too low and it changes the tension center of your body and your waist is not supported.

After a session give us your feedback.

Had a pair for nearly 12 mths, same lack of supply here same time last year, got them delivered for $135 AU from US when Aussie dollar was around 90 c US, bargain, recall they were about $180 here when in stock.

They are very very comfy, hook is lower than waist harness but higher than seat harness, feel nothing like a seat harness, no probs at all.

I used to use the dakine nitrous. Through lack of stock, I moved to the LF Board Shorts (same concept different brand). The move turned out to be for the better. The spreader bar sits a little higher and feels a bit more comfortable overall.

I have been using them for two years and really rate them. I have recommended them to three friends and none of them would go back to a waist harness. There are a couple of things I would mention though:

You don't have any sideways movement on the spreader bar so they are not brilliant for toeside or wave riding hooked in.

Make sure you get the spreader bar pad and flexible (vertical) spreader bar.

I always go for a quick swim before tightening the harness to make sure the webbing is at full stretch and won't loosen during the session.

Of the people I know who use it one is a female using the Starlet's, and the other three are males who weigh between 60 and 110kg.

Cheers,

Ben.

I have the same problem with my waist harness and I had it with my sit harness.
I'm suggesting something like this:

And it wont loosen up in the water
