OK G Yes this will become completely back filled,
min 1KM Squared. and a break wall /
groyne will have to be at least....... you would be estimating 10 m wide x 5 to 10 meters hight to the southof this picture approx 1km
AND extend
out through and past the waves approx 1km.
Dont quote me but i believe for every 10meters of groyne 100meters of coast the other side is effected (erodided).
Wild concept considering your looking at this picture with a south easterly blowing 15 knots before the 25 knot southerly side shore seabreeze hits from 10am till ............................dark plussssssss some.
Water current varries on the tides but is broken up by the reef gutters... but moves left to right to the channel ,
It always stays smooth with no chop dispite the wind strengh for the day
The lines of swell out the back are 3 to 4 meters Solid 3/4 mast high which wraps in then ,spits chucks and throws 5 times after reforming over the entire 1km swell ride , with the last section putting you just short of the beachie.
Take your pick sail through the guts and get upto 5 massive jumps or cruise the outside via the channel avoiding all white water.
Theres a **** load of wave energy and water movement with in the entire area, approx of 2km x 2km,
Farther south of this photo the waves still pound the out side reef.
Right of this photo is Coronation beach park (guessing 2km North as the crow flys ).
Great for a down winder or to sail from
Only god knows the out come ,but it sure going to change.
He wont let us miss out Good times are still alive and well

,i say
get it while you can
