i really fumbled around with the camera on the day. it'd been about 5 months since i last used it.
i couldn't remember which custom setting i had configured then reallised i was shooting at 1000 iso. then decided to move up the beach to get a better angle to the sun. decided half way through the session to try a different metering mode and forgot to change the exposure compensation to match.
still, it was a lot of fun as some of the guys on the water are the best of the best around here. i'm glad i had the camera in hand.
it was a sunny day. but the sky was the grey colour that you see in a few of the images. i used a ND filter with a blue cast in the editing software and hey presto. qld, beautifull one day blue skies the next. [}:)]
