Vigorous flow associated with cold front near 42S080E 49S087E to low 946hPa
near 52S078E to warm front 52S078E 53S082E 49S093E. Forecast cold front near
41S080E 50S095E 53S091E 54S084E to low 942hPa near 53S079E to warm front
55S082E 55S089E 53S100E at 270600UTC, cold front 45S094E 50S101E 55S095E to low
948hPa near 54S084E to warm front 57S092E 54S107E at 271200UTC, just low 951hPa
near 55S090E at 271800UTC, and low 954hPa near 56S093E at 280000UTC.
AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 41S080E 42S093E 45S102E 55S107E 57S092E 55S080E 41S080E.
FORECAST
Northwesterly quarter winds north of warm front and within 240nm east of cold
front, shifting westerly quarter west of cold front, and turning clockwise
within 420nm of low. Wind speeds 34/45 knots, increasing to 45/55 knots within
180nm of low in the northern quadrant. Winds associated with warm front covered
by Melbourne Gale Warning 3 from 271200UTC and winds associated with cold front
easing below 34 knots by 271800UTC. Winds easing below 48 knots by 280000UTC.
Very rough to high seas, rising to very high seas with storm force winds.
Moderate to heavy swell.
