Just got my hands on a second hand 3.5. Only had a low end session. Fabric feels the same grammage as hybrid 777, ultra light. The end of the cell on the trailing edge is just closed on one point in the middle of the cell. So the water drains right through, really no trouble there. Compared to an hybrid the low end is less grunty although the trim helps. When they say 16kts for the low end they are being very generous/optimistic. Feels like a 3m hybrid or something, so more like 18-20kts, and probably mid to high range to have great vmg. Wing flies very far in the wind window and tends to collapse at the tips quite a bit. Feels like a "high aspect" pw, it asks a lot and probably gives a lot in return. Will report back when the wind shows up.

Yeah interesting podcast.
Before Sam was on they were both saying it takes 6 sessions to dial in the Orbit.
I also recall Sam saying that current production that he's shortening the adjustment line.
I live in Auckland and saw Sam with a single skin on Lake Pupuke which is a very gusty location.
