I ride Armstrong either 795 or 935 masts. I currently have 2 foot hooks but working on doing strapless. I found what was critical for me was to ge both knees holding the board on edge and then get the back foot on with the heel right down at the edge of the board basically to counter the weight of the mast and foil. then place the 2nd foot at the front. This helped keeping the board on edge at 90 deg to wind direction. Need to try downloop starts
