Tried the 3m and 4,3m today, finally the range is as advertised, the top end of the 3m is very good.
It really feels like a big leap from pocket rocket v2 specially in gusty conditions.
Can you provide some details on top end of the 3m? Your weight and wind speeds? Thanks
Hi sure, I have used the 3m only 2 days now. I weight 85 kg, 68 litre board. Both days were very gusty, I would say some 35 knt gusts at least. The wing feels under control all the time, has amazing range , much better depower than the PR v2. The stability is also very good, there are no vertical movements even when depowered. So far I have not reach the top end. It is harder to back stall than the PR V2.
The only negative is the lines are very thin, and not rigid, so very easy to tangle if you are not careful. Because of the lines I would not recommend this to a beginner.
I sold all my four PR V2 and replaced by 3 afterburners, no more missionpack for me. So far happy and lighter in the pockets.
