Cheers for the response. I'm very interested in the backpack idea, I was initially looking at the duotone or foil dash product just to get the battery pack out from under the board, but i understand there is a runtime trade off with the duotone and a safety/reliability(?) trade off with the foil dash. What assist are you running on the backpack?

Morning.
Looking to get back into foiling after years away. Dropping significant $$'s so I am looking for some equipment recommendations. I am 90kg surfer, living next to a relatively average beach break (Narrowneck) on the Gold Coast. I am thinking of getting:
- Foildrive Max Plus.
- Duotone Midfish (i have heard about connection issues).
- Surf / wave riding foil or allround (but surf leaning) foil. Fone Sushi, Armstrong MA Mk2, Duotone Crest, etc.
I'm primarily looking for advice on which foil i should be getting, but please challenge the board and assist if you think i am going the wrong direction there.
