First run on the 5.9 for me today.
Forecast was 18 knots, in the event it was really just 10 in the gusts and barely 5 in the lulls. I put the big pump foil on the downwind board and headed out.
The 5.9 is amazingly well behaved when launched in such a light wind, it stays aloft in the lightest zephyr. I was able to pretty easily get up on foil in the 10 knot gusts and once on foil I could glide through some deep lulls with a little leg pumping, the wing stayed where I wanted it to.
Far from ideal parawinging conditions obviously, however that was all I had and I'm pretty impressed. At 10+ knots I would be very happy I think.
