Like any classifieds marketplace, Seabreeze publishes adverts — we cannot certify that a buyer or seller is genuine. Reduce risk:
- Profile age: brand-new accounts pushing urgent deals deserve extra caution.
- Talk: phone or real-time chat beats endless vague email.
- Expectations: travel, offshore work, and slow email habits explain ghosts better than rage-refreshing your inbox.
- Payment & shipping: agree who pays, who ships, and when. Prefer trusted payment platforms’ buyer/seller protection and read their fine print — “PayPal” is not a magic shield.
- Scams: fake payment screenshots, overpay-and-refund tricks, pressure to use unusual transfer apps, or “ship first to an agent” stories are common. If it feels rushed or off, walk away.
- Postage insurance: carriers often cap liability; insure anything you cannot afford to lose.
Interstate deals still come down to photos, conversation, and the risk you personally accept.
