In short
Every location's Tides page shows the next few highs and lows right now. The Tide Calendar zooms out to a full month at a glance, which is much easier for planning a trip weeks ahead than paging through single days.
If you only need today's tide, the Tides page is quicker. But if you're planning around a low-tide reef walk, a boat launch, or a fishing trip a few weeks out, the calendar lays the whole month out at once so you can spot the best days without clicking through one at a time.
Reading a day cell
Each cell holds a small tide curve for that day, plus the time and height of every high (marked H) and low (marked L). Heights are measured against a fixed chart datum for that location, so they're best compared day to day rather than expected to line up with round numbers.
Handy but easy to miss
- Switch between a full Month view and a rolling 30 Days view, whichever suits how you're planning.
- The "Print / save as PDF" button genuinely earns its place here, a printed calendar taped inside a tackle box or boat hatch is still hard to beat.
- A "Nearby" shortcut is worth knowing about: most tide times are calculated from the closest official reference port, so if your exact spot isn't a primary station, nearby is where to look for the closest match.
