I got a new Starboard 8'5 PRO over the weekend. It is a great board, turns well and is stable. I got mine in wood, does anyone know how the carbon compares?? I really like the wood one, looks great and is also lighter than the ast. It has a nice feature on the front, it is not glossy, so it can be walked on without slipping. Very happy with it. Thank you to Sunshine Coast SUP Fun for ordering it in for me. below are some photos that I got of me on sunday.
Anyone tried this board? I'm struggling to find reviews. Would also like to compare with the 2011 model. The 2012 has slightly less volume and looks a bit more performance orientated.
A couple of mates came down to the beach the other day. One has just started SUP surfing so he was keen to get out in some small stuff after he snapped his leggy in some big stuff. The other mate did some filming from the beach. He gave me the dvd this morning but I cant figure out the format and how to get it on YouTube. Instead I paused the vid and took a photo with my phone and transfered it onto my notebook then uploaded them here hahaha. Damn techno stuff
