In Queensland? - Watch for Drifting Yacht Please

A Bundaberg couple who were rescued from their yacht off the Queensland coast last month (see Sail-World story)are asking people to keep an eye out for it.

Illusion ran into trouble in bad weather three weeks ago when Chris and Ann Robinson were sailing from Bundaberg in south-east Queensland, to New Caledonia.

Mr Robinson badly injured his leg and they had to abandon their yacht when they were rescued.

Mrs Robinson says it is drifting in waters off the Queensland coast, but they are unsure where.

'Illusion's a 12-metre sloop which means she's got one mast. She's white in colour with dark green canvas,' he said.

'When we left her she had a little tiny bit of jib out and she had some fenders just off the starboard side.'
