I was in two minds about competing at Sail for Gold since I am about 8kgs below my ideal weight for Finn racing and my Team Origin commitments have restricted my training schedule so I had to weigh everything up. If it is windy, being this light will be a big disadvantage and I'll be off the pace. But I had to pit that possibility against the benefits of racing in the Olympic venue at a time when the Games will be held in two years' time. Between the Athens Olympics in 2004 and Beijing in 2008, I was unbeaten ...
