Actin' like a turkey - Sam Light kiteboarding in Ayvalik

It's a little backwards to be talking about Andi Jenson being 'back' with his latest video, but when the videography is that good, you find it tends to overshadow the rider a little bit.

Well, lucky Sam Light is such a good kiteboarder, because otherwise Andi Jenson would again be the star of the show in this clip from Ayvalik, Turkey. Famous for making the best kiteboarding videos around, Jenson is the guy you get to film when you want top quality stuff, no matter what the conditions are on the day. The variety of shots in this clip is great, with some totally unique angles that we've never before seen in a kiteboarding flick.

Sam Light's riding is progressing well too, with his cable influence really coming through in his kiteboarding style. Low, powered tricks are his flavour, and the conditions in Turkey are just the playground for such trickery.

Check out the video below, and favourite Andi Jenson on Vimeo so you don't miss the next one.

Opening in August 2007, Kitepower Australia Queensland, or KPQ, is the newest addition to the Kitepower chain. In September 2011, KPQ moved a few blocks down the road to a newly refurbished shopfront. The move allowed the shop to expand into other watersports like stand-up paddling and wakeboarding, as well as beachwear and toys. Across the road from the store is Pelican park and Bells beach, which are the perfect locations for flying kites and practising all kinds of watersports...
