Scoopamatic - a short video for the wakestyle kiteboarders

What do you get when you cross Andre Phillips, a couple of his mates and the shore break of all time? You get to watch the bootie boys having a great season, throwing themselves off kickers, sliders and a whole list of solid objects.

This is a great video of the kitescoop boys having a ball over their 2011 season in Antigua, West Indies. There's a bit of wave action, lots of sliders, a couple of girls and of course - not a pair of 'foot hooks' in sight (that's what the cool kids call footstraps these days). Over in Antigua, Andre Phillips and the forum Kitescoop have shaped the local kitesurfing scene into one of complete wake style riding. These guys spend their days making sliders, riding hard and having fun. It's great to see such a focussed little cluster of kitesurfers, who are influencing the style all over the world.

For those who don't ride bindings, observe the power and style these boys have while they're riding - it's inspirational stuff, but it's not because they're locked in with bindings. All this stuff could be done with footstraps, but then it just wouldn't be as cool..
