WAKSA raising money for RedKite charity

WAKSA Redkite Charity Kitesurfing Downwinder 2010

Following the success of last year's inaugural event, the Redkite Charity Kitesurfing Downwinder returns on December 5th 2010.

The event will follow last year's pattern to allow for as many kiters to participate as possible. In 2009 we had 68 kiters on the water and raised nearly $13,500 for Redkite. The challenge is on for WAKSA members to beat these numbers in 2010.

We are looking for a number of volunteers to help out on the day, including if possible a member or members who might be able to provide a large enough boat to assist with rescue/marshalling duties alongside Fremantle Volunteer Sea Rescue.

If you have access to a boat and are prepared to help out on the day, please contact us via [email protected].
