"We set out to provide the best equipped, best value boat in this category and that's exactly what we have achieved," Savage product manager, Ian Stanley declares.
"I think this is a boat that will make a lot of people sit up and take notice."
With a layout that allows 360 degree fishing, the 520 Angler Pro looks the part with two aerated live bait wells with a combined total of 165-litres and two lockable rod lockers.
Rated to handle outboards up to 115hp, the Angler Pro when a 115 is installed can hit speeds around 80km/hr.
The fit out displays excellent attention to detail; there are swivel pro fishing seats, helm with windscreen, a customised dash and beverage holder and Savage even offers a second console for added passenger comfort.
A large elevated casting platform has built in storage and offers a clear view of the fishing grounds, while the composite flooring eliminates rot and warping of hatches.
Navigation lights, positive buoyancy, automatic bilge pump, a fire extinguisher, concealed horn, non-corrosive fuel tank, level flotation and well-placed grab handles make the Angler Pro a very safe boat.
At 5.3-metres and a 2.42-metre beam, it's a spacious craft and port and starboard cargo netting and a number of convenient storage lockers fore and aft allow all equipment to be kept safely out of the way.
The rig can accommodate up to six adults.
It's available as a Savage 'Just Add Water' package, with a Mercury or Mariner 115hp outboard and custom trailer for just $35,992, which, when compared with what's around in that price range, makes the Savage Angler Pro exceptional value.
And it comes with the Savage five-year hull warranty and a transferable three-year warranty bow-to-stern.
