In between studying for exams and competing on the PWA world tour, Dieter Van der Eyken (Starboard / Severne) spends as much time on the water training as possible. In the final months of 2011, Van der Eyken made the trip over to Australia for some hardcore windsurfing.

His journey began in Perth where he met up with freestyle ripper Laure Treboux (Fanatic / North) for some flat-water action on Swan River. His trip then took him along the west coast to Geraldton and Gnaraloo for some incredible wave sailing.
