MAS IN THE MOUNTAINS

Watch the radical new freestyle movie from the world number twelve, Julien Mas

After the final event of the 2012 PWA World Tour Julien Mas (Patrik / Hot Sails Maui) was able to finish in twelfth place overall. Now the Frenchman has released his latest video, which features not only amazing freestyle action, but also stunning scenery in a location you wouldn't normally associate with windsurfing.

Unlike many other pro windsurfers Mas doesn't live in a windsurfing paradise, but his home spot of Lake Monteynard, France, clearly hasn't halted his progression. The twenty-three year old performs an explosive repertoire consisting of all the latest moves such as, skopus, kabikuchis, as well as powerful culos and burners.

The action isn't just wind powered either as Mas shows that he's equally as talented when it comes to the tow-in side of windsurfing. He lands smooth double and triple air-funnels, but the best is without doubt his radical warp-speed burners.
