really have a look at what some people are actually getting paid now. That kid in macca's is getting paid more than many factory workers.

That security guard in the shopping centre, well first it's not in his job description to become involved. But you are right and all of that is set by the government, think of the poor cop who HAS to deal with that cr@p and relatively they are getting paid bugger all.

Poor customer service- it's just society now. I worked at macca's as a kid and it was drummed into you service comes first, if you make eye contact with a customer acknowledge them, always smile and be polite, the customer is always right, meet production times etc. You're food should not take long, the longest part of making any burger was waiting for the meat- since cook to order has been around your order takes longer and it doesnt taste any better (provided maximum product hold times were maintained under the old system). Being honest it was also a great place to work, heaps of fun- so next time you get served without a smile remind em cheer up, it's all downhill from here [}:)]
