News readers who say "At the Weekend"
It's "On the weekend" !!!!

Yeh, Nah

Same type of complaint, when news hounds say a "bull dozer" did XYZ, when any sane person can see it’s a bloody Front end Loader with a bucket fitted too it.
A bull dozer is the dirty great push BLADE thing fixed to the push arms, that fits up to a track type tractor or a rubber tyre tractor. Get it right, you news ZYLOOMS[}:)]

Are you talking about that BACKHOE/loader on the news the other night
often incorrectly refered to as a DIGGER

Wasn’t but yes, same thing, blasted boof headed media managers.
Added to that, I channel flick yesterday and cross over channel 2 and what does some smart arsed Aussie nature program presenter refer to the variety of marsupial animals in Australia as, “various critters.” What a slow learner
News flash foolish one, they are animals, not unlike you[}:)]

Why?

A few years ago now, some seppo on Rec.windsurfing was complaining about imported boards having their volume marked in liters.
He was going on about any board imports into his country should be marked in his country's units, (cubic feet I guess). He seemed to take it as a personal insult, that other countries manufactures didn't respect American units.

A couple of Aussies on the forum really let him have it!

Skin peeling from the roof of your mouth after eating something too hot

Dawdlers in shopping centres and groups of mums blocking isles in supermarkets with their prams and trolleys, who give you foul looks when you try and get past.

Seems there's a lot to hate

Weird aren't they? You don't have to know what a litre is as it is all relative. They could mark volume from 1- 100 and you will know your 99formula is bigger than a 50wave, and has about twice the float. Duh.

My 20gal waveboard is schweet though!
