Did anyone else see the one east of Perth on Friday? Complete rainbow with bright and distinct colours. It was amazing.
On the way to Wedge Island a few weeks ago (inland road) it was still pretty early in the day and there were squalls rolling in with a NW. At one point we crested a hill and there was a heap of rain and cloud in front of us and the sun at our backs. Seeing the looks on the kids faces today as they were learning to make wire sculptures was an awesome feeling (although this is only day one...I may not like it so much by the end of 2 weeks)
-sleeping on the beach in a swag on a clear night -playing with bubble wrap -eating fresh lychees on a hot day -hearing butcher birds sing -buying new tools

Get onto a school of big snapper. Bag out in 10 mins. Throw in the whiting line and ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, 30 mins later a 20Lb knobber shows its face. Watch him swim back to the depths after you release him
But I do love the ocean no matter what Im doing in it... other than fishing
then a sleep under the tree till the kids wake you up for dinner
