LNG comes from a hole in the ground.
LPG is a by-product of cracking crude (in a refinery) to produce all the other petroleum products (petrol, lubricants etc). That eternal flame which
used to burn down at Kwinana was LPG - a waste product!
About 10 years ago my brother-in-law worked for Kleenheat. Part of his salary package was that he could buy LPG at cost - 5c/litre.
