Red thumb away my friends.
To be honest i was just having a bad day, and of course i serve these customers as well as i would serve other customers.
Let me try and give some perspective.
Things ARE cheaper on the net, and sometimes it is easier. On a few occasions, i have even suggested to customers they have a look. I am honest with customers, i am not looking for their hard earned money, I would rather they got something that best suited thier needs, and if i dont think we have it, i will say so.
I can spend over half an hour or more talking to customer and giving them advice, even if they aren't going to spend a cent, i know they are greatful for any tips, and i certainly dont mind helping them.
For instance, a typical customer comes in looking for something, to perform a high level of customer service, i need to ask questions, so that i can provide the best possible advice and products that will best suit their needs. The more info i can get, the more i can narrow down what it is that they will need.
If someone comes in and can tell me what they want, what they want to use it for, how often, how much they want to spend..etc etc i can generally save them alot of time by pointing them in the right direction, giving reasons why i think such things would suit there needs.
So case in point, if your english is limited to yes, no and how much, i can only do the best i can.I guess its just frustrating.
