Former drummer of Manchester based post punk new wave band Joy Division, he was replaced by an electronic drum machine after rape allegations were made against him and the band reformed as New Order.

From poster boy to outcast, it certainly does sound like it is all unravelling for Karl.

And after the recent Channel Nine scandals, executive departures and declining audience of Tipping Point it also sounds like it is unravelling thread-by-thread for Channel Nine.

Even for the proposed alternatives , it unraveled for Bruce Lehrman some time ago, for Grace Tame after she made those difficult chants inciting hatred, for Dave Hughes when audiences realised comedians should be funny. It was a slow unraveling for Joy Division, but from the first strand of Ian Curtis via New Order to the last strand of Peter Hook it unravelled strand-by-strand. Even the tectonic plates in Central America appear to be continuing their geological unraveling.

Slowly, strand-by-strand, thread-by-thread is seems to be unraveling for everyone.

Perhaps BRS could replace Karl at Channel Nine ?

Andrew Bolt, on his Sky News segment, highlighted that Karl really just gave Tommy a platform to air his grievances and spread lies.

So maybe Andrew Bolt could take that slot?
