In the early '70s mate of mine, at Pearce RAAF base, was severely castigated by the honches for doing the world's largest "flying phallus" about 35,000 feet over Perth city. It was a bit over 50 nautical miles long and each cod was 30 nautical miles diameter, and it hung there for about 3 hours. Probably would have been OK if it hadn't made the TV news that night. Oh, and did I say, he had a specially modified Macchi so he could do it with chemtrails, not contrails, coz we all know that contrails don't happen.
