Slingers have finally seen the light, they've binned the 5th line for good.
It's that extra leg on the chair, you don't really need it, hey ?
It just gets in the way.
I never did 'get' the 5th line concept.
Probably ok in the snow.
Not much snow here in Western Australia.
Some kites fly the 5th in tension.....
which means the kite is ok for the high-end, but crap for the bottom-end.
Other kites fly the 5th in slackness...
which is only useful as a relaunch yank device or as a flagging line.
But you can use any line for flagging.
Slingshot is saving money now on all that string.
