OK here goes: I'm one of the Col's from the Sunshine Coast mentioned earlier. Bought a 12m Switchy off Buzz last year and after several emails asking questions I didn't hesitate in buying off him. Kite arrived within a week with no problems. Brand new, well packaged and I saved heaps - yeah I know I should be supporting my local shop etc. etc. but I've bought enough kiting equipment locally and still do, so I don't feel guilty. Peace.

when did you message him? if it was days ago like I think it was, and he hasn't responded, then me thinks he is probably a scammer. The fact he is replying on this thread is an attempt to appear legit to any other potential victims. I hope I am wrong about Buzz, but It all seems a bit too good to be true.

No probs ... but i agree with GF, could've all been handled a lot better ... lotofwind could've simply asked me direct in a message if I could show legitimacy somehow. Instead of dragging my 'cred' thru the wringer on the forum ! Anyway, that's history now - all is forgiven and forgotten...
However, in hindsight - it's probably a good thing now, as everyone knows.
And YES, it is a happy ending as lotofwind has agreed to purchase (using PayPal) !
PS: hopefully, my ribs will hold-up this coming season, and I'll only have 2 or 3 second-hands kites to sell next year ...

hey lotofwind, how does paypal protect you? it's still just like giving someone the money (and being charged a commision) and waiting for it to turn up isn't it? I've used it on ebay but only thought you had protection when it had the paypal guarantee on it..
My kite turned up in the mail today 8 days after I transfered money to Buzz in Thailand. Big sigh of relief to open the box and find exactly what Buzz said it was.Very Happy

The IDS XBow is a much improved kite ... turns heaps better without the pulleys on the bar ... very well behaved ... boosts huge ... great for a big fella in lite winds !
