I have to admit I didn't think I'd win it. I thought it was going to be Harros sunrise one or Colwil's song. I had a hell of a lot of fun in the past few weeks so this is just one massive bonus.
The Around the Bay in a Day charity was the most fun of all the things I got up to and I only decided to do it 20 mins out from the starting gun. I'd pulled out because I'd hyperextended my knee a few weeks back and was just prancing about in my costume when my gf's uncle decided to pull out because of age/ill-health so I took his spot. No bike gear with me...only choice was the costume. Lots of women loved it
and a few guys asked me out
The other charity for the Cancer Council of Victoria was fun too. They had a live band playing when I first got there and the lead singer stopped halfway through a song and said into his mic "Was that a superhero that just walked past?".
Anyway, big grats to all the runners up, especially Harros and Colwill. Blokey, my hats off to you as well mate because when I did my run through Melbourne I just wanted to get my clothes back on and hide the entire time! We got so few pics of that because I wouldn't stand still long enough for my gf to take a photo.

No offence cut, yours wasn't too bad, just not as good as the Sunrise guys or Collins. Does he or the sunrise guy at least get a second prize for such a colossal effort???
