I have leant my pump out every now and then (probably happens once every 2 months). I don't see the problem, I just ask people to take it be gentle with it and it comes back in good condition. I'd hope if I didn't have my pump with me, or it broke someone would lend me theirs.

That being said I can understand people's frustration if its a chronic issue from the same person.

Just because an individual has poor grammar doesn't mean they don't deserve a hand. Might be taking that one a tad too far mate

I lend mine out whenever asked, that being said, I have lent it out to a couple of teachers from schools, and then found it lying amongst there gear after i've finished my session. Thats kind of annoying... Wouldn't stop me loaning it out again though

Whole lot of selfish, old grumpy grannies on this topic. A few years from now, when kiters are hating on each other, like most surfers do in the line up these days, remember your part in creating that vibe. Or you could just lend your goddam pump and stop being such a f**k knuckle. I've been on both sides of the equation - lent and borrowed. That kind of camradarie with strangers makes this sport unique in my opinion. So if I ask, and you say no. Fine. Don't wanna know you anyway, you old Scrooge.

If someone is polite enough to ask they'll prob put it back.

For everyone else if you get stuck and there is one left with someone's gear, put it back for ****s sake and treat it like its your baby.

Maybe i'm too trusting. There was one time a guy I sorta knew left his pump behind. I was already launched and ready to go. So i told him how to break into my car so he could steal the pump and use it. The dude used the pump, put it back, didn't steel my car and everyone was happy.

Maybe its a bit of karma paying back the angry F*cktards.

I say pay it foward boys. Lend that pump. hell go an buy a second pump and lend it with reckless abandon. While your lending your pump. launch and land some guys and give a newbie some advice.... and grin like a school boy whose just found his old mans stick mag collection. you might discover the world is not as bad as you think!

mate since when do we give a flying **** about the english language . We butcher it and shorten words to how we like it . And mate isn't impolite . If you want next time i see you i will come up and say " Hey f$ckwit, give me your pump you c0cksucker"

Get a permanent marker /stencil/spray and get artistic on your pump. Ones where I bothered to do this lasted until they wore out, never taken by accident and if i ever left it behind would always make their way back somehow. Loaned it out with no issues ever.
