hi im staying in Taveuni for four weeks from july 20th to august 10th, can you reccomend anywhere there or is it all mainland.

Also anyone have a board - tt i could borrow or rent and a pump? Got everything else though

Would i be right in thinking its rashie and shorts weather no need for a suit?

The beach in front of Coconut Grove resort is sandy, easy launch.
Top end of the island, there is a shallow passage that the wind honks through, big sandbar, easy launch and landing, but if you screw up and/or the wind drops out then its open ocean in front or downwind of you.
I saw 3 seasnakes in this area, they are timid and pretty harmless though.
Booties/reef booties are essential in Fiji if you are exploring, and in lots of places you need them to get on and off the beach, without shredding your feet.
Coconut Grove is in a class of its own for accomodation, food, coffee, and service at the airport end if the island.

Cya and

Goodwinds
