Have to say the North board range is outstanding, very impressed. The board construction is leading edge technology (although several other companies have gone this way too, funny bout dat!), although the outstanding thing for me is the pads and straps, an amazing amount of detail has been put into the design, and they are so comfy, the strap design is so kite specific and can be contoured to fit almost any foot size and shape.
The Rebble is the new North kite, getting rave reviews everywhere, no news on the Vegas 07 other than it is a refinement of the amazing 06 kite, Rhino will be released later in our season in late Jan/early Feb.
The Rebble is built on the groundbreaking work of Ozone with the Insinct kite in their combined use of the 5th line as the leading edge support and safety system.
Demo an Instinct or Rebble at Kitepower stores or Ozone/North retailers.
The Naish boards are also very cool and their new strap system is unique, so simple. I think they need to work on the straps a little but they will fit joe average extremely well. The surfboard range is the standout for their board range IMO.
The Naish kites as usual have great construction, first class materials, improved octopus single point inflation, awesome new colours and graphics, they must get first option on some colours??
Did not get to fly the new Torch or Raven which I know you are most interested in, but I can say they have upped the anti on the construction, colours, and shift2 bar 5 line system.
Well is Saturday the 10th sept, its pissing down, the FOTW is supposed to be on at Bondi tomorrow, we have canned out attendance for the first time in 10 years, feeling a bit bummed about that, but otherwise excited about the long summer season ahead mate, and hopefully a southerly session in the wave at Dolls tomorrow!!
I dont care what gets covered in crap tomorrow if its doable try one of the dozens of demo products we have in store and I will come over too if the wave is on.
