GALAH is the Botany Bay critic of this forum this thread has gone 24 pages in an attempt to find out who he is , if you can discover his identity then we will bestow upon you honourary membership of the KKK.
Very impressed with your recent history no wonder you need some hours of kiting to come down.

no worries galahonthebay.it took me two enquiries to discover your identity. i took the time to read the galah to be outed thread from the beginning. its great reading.your a verry funny indvidual. try to pass some of your humour along to other kiters. ill tap you on the shoulder when i see you next

Saffer - I never said nor implied any of the things. Please re-read my post and then comment on what I said next time you choose to quote me and imply I am the cause of world evil.

PS On a side note i'm not sure how you can be the son of a thousand females, anatomically speaking at least, I would have thought the more likely was son of a thousand males (Anabelle Chong stylee - eeeewww!)

I know you didn't. I was just responded to the comments you made. I referred to the other comments and said "one of them" not you.

P.s. Son of a thousand bitches must make "mothers day" tough. Imagine all those presents you'd have to buy?

Your tour in Iraq is admirable, and I'm sure I can speak for everyone on the forum when I say we're glad you made it back alive.
I'm sure you're still between totally stressed out and elation to be home.
However, your comments are way out of line. Have a go if you think you are being hard done by, but keep it in perspective. These sort of comments will not win you any friends here, and are not in the Aussie spirit or rules of mateship. You've yet to form a bond with your fellow kiters whom you may need one day to get you out of a bad situation, or some form of care until the ambulance arrives.
As with Ricardo, my name is on my profile for all to see, and you know who I am. I stand out pretty well in my blue diaper shorts and Pink Waroo. If you want to talk about it face to face, you know where to find me.
Safety is a big issue for us all, and we as a group at Kurnell will do what we can to keep it safe for everybody. We've all seen or suffered the broken bones, dislocations, fractured skulls, blown out knees and a host of other injuries, and we will do what is necessary to avoid further incidents, even if it offends some people. Some of us have been friends for 20+ years through surfing, windsurfing and now kiting. We all look out for each other, and we also look out for anybody else in trouble no matter who they are.
As I said before, talk to the locals, learn the local rules and everyone stays safe and has a good time, and so the group expands.

On a lighter note:
1. I only wear my blue diaper shorts when my pink polkadot g-string is in the wash.
2. I usually jump up to 2 meters in height. Must have been having a bad day
3. At the age of 50 I'm sadly resigned to the fact that I'll never be on the tour, but thanks for lifting my riding ability up to the level of ordinary.
4. I resent being called a little weasel. Big weasel I can handle
5. I'm happy to hear my attitude is still recognised as being smart ass. I thought I was losing my touch.

Chill out mate, we're not that hard to get along with.

Chill out a little bit dude.....Break this down to exactly what it was...and try and see it from another view...
New guy shows up at new spot....doesn't say boo to anyone, proceeds in snaking a bunch of dudes in a line-up, jumping/ turning without looking over their shoulder causing other kiters to take defensive actions, hanging out on the beach with kite up in peoples way and not knowing the give way rule(easy mistake and not always followed).....I yelled out friendly comments a couple times when you turned/ jumped right next to me....all I got was a glare back....
Then you turn around and criticise other kiters, kiting ability and integrity, and then demand that we identify ourselves to you.... can you see the picture unfolding….. going straight to offensive mode against others that are letting you know how your actions were perceived, and giving you some local knowledge.…is not a great start…. I’m sure (and hope) you must have learnt other ways of conflict resolution…hopefully I don’t need to spell this out…I’m sure your man enough to take it on the chin, and come and introduce yourself.
Even as a non-local and a relative newbie myself, I hope I can speak for most of us in the greater BB area, in saying that, we would all be more than happy to chat about locals rules and dangers, and have a yarn about a great days kiting…..that’s what mates (and kiting) are about….
….y tambien, me foro de nombre y actitud esta mismo, porque hay solo un Cabron…jejejejeje….es una broma….tranquilo

Someone should tell this Foxy Kane dude that not ALL Aussies agree with the invasion of Iraq,particularly by Australia.

Neither can you invade Kurnell and treat the locals like an enemy !

your a strange one user. the kurnell crew have apologised to me for their inapropriate comments and i have accepted their apologies.

this debate has nothing to do with political issues that australia has got itself involved in. why would you want to raise that. when you grow up and mature some you will be ready to discuss the issue of Australia's international responsibilities and i will be happy to discuss them with you.until then just stick to kiting and you will have much more fun

seems to me that foxy kane should be the one apologising for his highly innapropriate comments. way below the belt. iraq must have been hell and its good you made it home but your not in iraq now. are you man enough to admit you overstepprd the line and offer up an apology

seems to me highonastring that you fail to understand the facts. let me clear them up for you.
i simply posted that kurnell is a great kiting spot and that others should take advantage of it. i had posted in a " tongue in cheek " way that the locals were keeping it a secret. a point that can clearly be seen throughout the thread- the 20 odd pages of it.
Then came the attack on me by cabron followed up by kkiter then ricardo. what did you expect me to do - sit back and suck it all up - would you like me to insult your mother in spanish. think about it mate and then go back to the point in the posts where the attack started. i gave them back a bit of their own medicine - isnt that the Aussie way - take a bit give a bit.
in any case they saw the error of their ways and recognised they were out of order with their comments and they apologised. so there you go mate - they were in the wrong - they realized it and said they were sorry . these are the facts - move on

The fact remains that in any place with any rules, the way you were kiting the other day was dangerous, discourteous and extremely selfish. The Kurnell guys have been big enough to apologise for the way in which they reacted and let it go.

Is it your intention to continue kiting in a reckless manner endangering others ? After all, it was your initial behavior in this fasion etc that started this whole thing. If not for that, no reaction would have been neccessary.

They were big enough to apologise, are you big enough to admit your dangerous, selfish and discoureous actions at the beach ?

QUE PASA???? Firstly, there was no insult to your mother....translated....yes correctly I must admit....refers to a negative connotation directly to yourself(Tongue in cheek comment, if you knew me).
Secondary, I clearly pointed out the sequence of events that lead to my first posting....if you wish to see this as an apology, and it makes you feel better...whatever...I simply was annoyed with your selfish and dangerous attitude on the day, it was not an attack, I am not the enemy, it was letting you know that some behaviour patterns are not acceptable at any locations, and hopefully informing yourself of this would change the course of your future actions. Yes I could have said something on the day, my mistake.
I am not asking for an apology, simply want you to understand your actions were not acceptable. To this point, i'm not sure if I have got through.
As stated earlier, stop taking offence and try and learn from some comments made. The KKK crew are a good bunch of guys, and a little respect goes a long way. I look forward to catching up at some point, clearing the air and having an enjoyable kite together.

I would like to clear things up a bit... Foxy, you sparked a reaction from the locals because while you were away on business a few issues were raised regarding safe kiteing in the bay which was followed by a couple of meetings and the beginning of forming a council kite club. If naming and shaming a person for acting like a fool on our waters and contribute to the likelihood of a kite ban on the bay, then so be it... Take it on the chin, accept the fact that you did not kite in a responsible way and strife to do better.. What would you do to protect your local from a ban.. This is the kite community you are dealing with, a bunch of mellow dudes, go to Maroubra if you feel you need to size yourself up against anyone’s mother to justify yourself as a man. Admit to your actions and we all will move on.

Shark spotted at Kurnell today by Ricardo.
He wasn't wearing his glasses though so it could have been anything from a Galah on a Unicycle to the Queen Mary docking between the groynes.
