I am in a state where I am no where near close to an instructor I am in North Dakota and I'm the only one around here that has a kite, well some people r starting to fly them since I have been flying my power kites. So that's why I need to know the details about it, but I would really like to see an instructor but I cant:(
Hi 1Newbee,
Not pimping and no affiliation etc...
Give these guys a call as they're in the US in the state next to you:
http://www.innatenews.com/superiorkiteboarding/index.html "Superior Kiteboarding School's Kiteboarding and Kitesurfing Lessons Coverage AreaOne of the big benefits of taking kiteboarding and kitesurfing lessons with Superior Kiteboarding School is our coverage area. Most kiteboarding schools only teach kiteboarding lessons in the twin cities and Lake Mille Lacs. In addition to the twin cities and Lake Mille Lacs, we also teach kiteboarding and kitesurfing lessons on Lake Winnibigoshish and Lake Superior for people living in northern Minnesota and eastern
North Dakota. For people living in northern and central WI and the Upper Peninsula of MI we offer kiteboarding and kitesurfing lessons on Chequamegon bay near Ashland Wisconsin. Both Lake Winnibigoshish and the Chequamegon bay offer the same benefits as Lake Mille Lacs; big shallow sand bars and butter smooth winds, making them great places to learn to kiteboard in the summertime. For more information check out our Kiteboarding lessons page."
Lessons Count for heaps, so maybe they'll want to help you and your locals getting up and going safely.
Ride safely & enjoy the wind
