Hey elizabethb I just read your words and looked at your profile. You wouldn't be looking for a slightly older, financially secure, totally kiting-understanding bloke in Perth, would you? Huh?

LOL hey mate.... You have NOTHING in your profile to check out LOL!

Slightly older doesn't bother me lol.
The WA-Perth part of that doesn't interest me!

I know ALL about WA wind and how great it is, but when you have THE spot and crew I do, I wouldn't pass it up for a guy! *Did that once and won't do it again*

AUSSIE DAY PROFILE PIC! woohoo LOL

Why not take out a personal ad?

Soon to be single male looking for female for deep and supportive relationship, whenever the wind's not up.

If you like driving to distant seaside locations, long walks on beaches, and intimate candle-lit conversations about the merits of the Rev 08, I'm your man.

Jetski not required but would be considered favourably.

Why not rather put down "nice long meaningful one night stands". You don't have the associated costs of a relationship then.

WA blokes... sorry I'm not interested! Enjoy your wind though.
Everything else sounded like a nice positive.

Well... having finished my HSC, I decided no girlfriends... just adrenaline and the beach.

All that I have done all holiday is surf and kite and drink beer (recently turned 18 too)

It really has been some of the best months of my life to date... 100% serious

Oh and by the way that endorphins thing is so true, I find after doing a hard weights session at the gym or going on a long run or playing rugby or wateva... that feeling afterwards is totally immense, but NOTHING has surpassed the feeling that day when I got when I was up and going on my board...

I've already got a group of angry women-friends who would probably burn my darling kite given half a chance... thats why it stays in its bag... next to my BED

Its much easier to beg for forgivness than to ask permission! My wife now accepts she is a kite widow from October through to March...

Brilliant plus the saving grace is "Babe you will have me the rest of the year....Oh hang on theres a 12ft swell at Margs this Saturday..can we go to Bunnings next week?."

The trick is, and you might want to get a pen for this one, the trick is....not to be an arsehole. That's what it comes down to.

At a certain point you realise that you can do things you might not necessarily really want to do if you were on your own, but it makes your partner happy, and therefore you feel happy because she/he is happy.

Doesn't matter if it's kiteboarding, going out on the piss with your mates, or giving up the thrill of holding her hand against the element on the stove.

Nice people like to make other people happy - it's a good quality to have.

Finally, you have to draw the line somewhere. Let's elucidate this point with an example; I have a friend who constantly misses his kid's 'things' (concerts, birthday parties etc) because he either doesn't go because he goes kiting or can't drag himself off the water. Yes his wife gets pissed off, but the point is, his kids are bloody crushed every time - it's like living with an alcoholic.

My point; the trick is not to be an arsehole - I'm pretty addicted to kiting so I know what I am talking about - and I have definately been an arsehole about it before! But there's a limit.

Buy a kite with boobs. Problem Solver-ed

I'VE GOT ONE - HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!

Hey I tried the why don't we do something together now (no breeze) and I'll go kiting after that line the other day myself... Of course I was joking but by shear auducity (and huge amounts of luck) it all went to plan.. even the bl00dy breeze came in on time!!! Sometimes you think all that stocking up on karma is bollocks and then a day like this comes along... sigh, still wish my lovely lady would kite though...

The jetski ad will be getting a work out on I wear Lavas life, and RSVP (Revs,Slingys,Vegas and even Poleboarders) dot com for sure next spring.
