lucky bay on the swan river is great for beginners on a S-SWester but directly onshore on a WSW wind.
Pity the poor guy who but his borrowed kite in the gum-tree. Finally got it out ripped, popped and rooted. Pity the guy who then reversed into the concrete seats as he was leaving...
Anyone see how the kite got there in the first place?
Newbies beware!

No matter how many kites are eaten by this tree and how many times people are coached not to fly kites over the road...........time and time again the tree gets its kite feed.

There hasen't been a good road drag lately though.........no friggen wind strong enough, that's why.

DON'T fly your kite over the road because sooner or later the Melville wind will get you!

Damn these inanimate objects! Lets ask council to remove these static hindrances! Whilst these urgent public works are undertaken, they can dig up all that lawn because I have been getting prickles in my feet lately

It appears also that all these blow-in newbies turning up at Lucky Bay have only just got their drivers licences - please obey the traffic rules and council signage - NO PARKING adjacent double lines/traffic islands - lets not draw any undue attention!

Anyhow why do you all need to crowd the Ness Rd corner Head downwind were your only a danger to yourselves and there is no trees

Poor bugger.

That looked like one hell of a tear.

I spose heres a reason why its good to kinda hang around further to the right, at least theres no trees to get in the way of a good drag into people's front yards.
Woohoo

Can always tell when season starts....trails of blood accross the road, leaves and branches disappearing from the trees.

Pity

A fair bit of time and effort went into developing a "code of conduct" at melville last year. there are some rules in place, it might pay for those venturing out in Melville to read them.

Wow, I can't understand that anyone, especially someone learning would go to Lucky Bay on a day like today, WSW with a 10 to 15 knot gust range.........mad.

Go to the Ocean when gusty and onshore at Melville.

Any occurances this afternoon?
