I have been known to ride a surfboard, but I don't think im going to go all the way to Robe to compete in a contest that is judged (if anything like other kitesurfing comps) on how many pivots you can do on a wave.
Dont get me wrong Robe is an amazing place to go.

How Long does it take to drive from Adelaide to Robe?

You are looking at around 31/2 to 4 hours from Adelaide. It's a easy drive.

hey guys, october is a great time to be kiting in the south east of SA, should be good wind!
I live about 30km south of robe on a farm, we have land right on the waters edge of Lake George which is a great flat water, shallow kiting spot! I built a Kicker last year with my mate Anthony from robe and it hasnt been ridden due to a knee reconstruction , but im all better now, and keen to hit it up with anyone else keen, so if ur coming to robe for the wave nationals dont forget to chcuk in ur twin tip board, im sure ill see most of you down in robe but if not give me a call (0400200366) and we can organise a flat water sesh on lake george and get the kicker out!

Hope to see you all there for a epic week!!!!
