Mmmm... anyone seen a Pink leading edge kite at Brighton wanting right of way on the way out AND on the way in? ... I should clear up that we are talking well clear of the break here... SIGH...
I can understand that every second kiter seems to have a differant take on who has ROW, but who really believes that they have ROW going in AND out from shore???
I am pretty cool with giving way in most situations (especially around the break, even if I do have the ROW)just to avoid agro or damage, but honestly, it seems some of the more 'experienced' (read: should know kn better) kiters tend to see an old kite and assume "kook/newby so get outta my way cause I'm posing for the camera and I am the only one who
DESERVES a free run in and out with my spanking new gear that rockets upwind".
Very selfish and tiring. Eventually it comes down to getting pissed with losing ground to the same kiter and unexpectedly (for them anyway) holding my ROW line and giving them some verbal and one nasty tyre track in their wetty!
Anyhoo it's good to have a thread like this early in the season to try and get everyone on the same program... Now lets see if I am a good kiter get a nice bright new kite from santa then i can pss everyone else off! Oh please santa you creepy looking beardy please give me e new kite, I sooo want to be a goose too...

Just should not be neccessary, especially on occasions when there aren't many kites out

Merry chrissy to all the more considerate folk out there
