That's what Jeff Kennet tried to do at a premiers meeting 13 years ago. The cost back then was $10 Billion. One desal plant costs $3-4 Billion. It would of drought proofed the eastern states. They were the only lib state government at the time and Jeff got smashed. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Could have been something to do with his hair tho
