So I just looked at the graph and this sunday could be a very strange downwinder.

I might take the Tribal to Pt Henry and play there.

we need a bit more time and prep and better forcast.

Hey Puppet

bit of Mexican humor. In St Kilda if its Northerly there will 3/5 of FA happening.

Might as well go on a downwinder. Expect most of the competitors might even join us

Is it true that whenever anyone says "I don't believe in Fairies"
another Bow kiter drops dead.?[}:)]

no that's "...another sailboarder drops dead."

Oh! That's right, sorry Tony, you're one of these people living dual lives. A bit ACDC, a foot in each camp, the double-adapter of the wind world.

The great pretender.

I try to be a pretend sailboarder, but I don't have to try to be a pretend kiteboarder.

I could try to be "the Kite Nazi".

Well I say the Cabrinha Beer Tent looks good at the Nats.
There appears to be Jack all wind to be down winding to.

All very uptight and not too friendly there when I dropped in this evening though

personally can't think of anything worse than a crowded beach full of pimply faced teens who wear their boardies over their wetties, blaring distorted thrashy "Hardcore" kite music as they flash their "Devil" signs in every photo out of speakers that did their apprenticeship at "Monkey" 10 years ago.

yeah, weather looks a bit dodgy for this Sunday, if it improves stay tuned for a one way run, or try next week-end

You ain't winded till you down winded

I'm up for sumthing as the nats are too bldy hard to find.

I woz sooo.. looking forward to them and itz all gone pear shaped.

Saturdays out as I'm on daddy dud care but Sundays funday as she who must be obeyed takes over kddy duty.

Looks like best we can manage is a few car pools and shuttles which is cool as a social get together and n e way..u gotta start sumwhere.,

Happy to start brighton (got north and south breeze coverd) will need quick 10km or so car shuttle for organising pick up point and then off we go....

Sound ok?
pick a time say 2pm (feel free to adjust)
place (brighton)
turkeys(build a list..copy and add your name etc)

If we've got at least 6 punters by Sunday morn I reckon we're onto something. Hell it'll only take an hour or two and might actually start some social interaction..heaven forbid..

( bacardi breezers or ruskies for the fairer sex )

Hy everybuddy,
I think (gee I started again with I) it is a great ideea. Lets do it, however, who will organize everithing? there are only three weeks, so let's move it. Bus, boat/jetsky or watever, drinks (soft or water during the downwinder) may be a BBQ on St Kilda Beach, all this has to be organised. May be we can involve KBV into this (collecting the moneay and organisiung the bus, boat and the BBQ). Gee, I hope we can do it this year! Look at WAKSA, they had theyr Freo to Rotnest Island last year, and it was fantatstic.javascript:insertsmilie('')
