the moves in this video are awesome but it also has some near misses which i will now think about the next time i go kiting (land and water), along with recent saddening news. whether people bother to think about the risks is up to them. lead a horse to water...

saf, instead of casting aspersions on open discussion, wouldn't it be better to encourage discussion of risks? ie. instead of suggesting we keep stum please continue to address the root causes of their concerns.

you say "immature" but that's a subjective term. some people may want to write in that style to make a point. wouldn't maturity be to let them have their say and read for meaning? please note i am not endorsing unlawful (eg. abusive or threatening) posts.

it sounds like these council meetings will hear two sides of the story:

wouldn't you rather be in a position to present more discussions between safety conscious kiters, rather than less?

Good points there skind.
But asking a person out for a date that came here to talk about the problem and then making a big joke of it for almost half a page ( maybe longer), no matter what way you look at it isn't making a point, it's immature.
