The sport is full of cowboys with wild horses the horses being more wild then the riders in some cases

but to get to the root of the problem.

It seems this person is able to offer apologies and has done.
maybe his board is in a state as well

but anyway we are in the wild west and it seems through my own past experiences its not who is in the right but who talks the most **** well so some may think

maybe just remember at the beach
Days like these are to rare to be leveled by heavy handed words
and the wasting of valuable time on fools!

so does your board sink now or is it ripped in half or has dint or ding what I am saying really kik is its no faberge egg

and none of us have enough information to answer your query.

but After being around for a while is if it looks out of control it prob is so stay away

maybe when you get to the beach look around see who is out on the water and who is pumping up

and know when to get and know when to give

oh and two sides of a story is better then any number of mates on one side of the story

oh and sometimes it just ant anyone elses problem but yours and who ever.

these forums always make me smile!
well, most of those guys got a point, really: **** happens...
Now, I understand your issue about keeping your gears in good shape, but past the 10th rip on coral, seriously... who cares!!!
It's something else than having a dork putting a board the wrong way around on your brand new kite sitting on the beach, and stiking it in so damn hard that the thin goes through the sail (thanks to the guy who did this to me back in NQL, by the way!( you did well hiding, I'm telling you...)). Speak about stupid damage then.
I agree that it would have been gentle of the guy to come to you to make an apology face to face -we like to keep it friendly...- but even if he was in the wrong, there are no LEGAL rules at the moment that could possibly oblige him to pay for the damage (and that wouldn't make your board become suddenly brand new any way...). And, I agree with you then, beating him up wouldn't solve your problem either!!!
Now, bring me your board: a bit of resin and patch, and I fix it like brand new for you,and for a smile only...

DIY, dear, only receipe that works... The kite's doing great, thank you.
But I don't believe for one second that it actually was you, it would take an idiot to dare spelling such a thing out... Hm... Let me think... I reckon that's what it actually took at the first place to do that, so why not...
Whatever!
Good on you if you know better now... Next time, learn with your kite, please...
Peace!
