Alright if the wind forecast maintains that could be an all time day, 4 ft swell forecasted on swell websites and 25 knots....

So I walk out of the client's office to get some lunch and I see motion in the trees and evidence of said showers. I check the graphs to see some nice looking green arrows for current readings. I ask myself a) why did it have to be today when I am working and not yesterday, and b) did anyone get out for a good session?

Five or six out at leighton with another thre or four kites on the beach not going out.

Wind was strong between 12.30 and 14.00 but OK.

One or two giving a bit of a clinic (Someone said it was Dan Anderson)

Nasty black clouds looming now tho.

Yep a couple of us enjoyed a mental session at Mullas in the shorey between 2pm and 5pm. Awesome! I remembered why I love kiting.

7.0m Halo and 6'2" Converse 'til I snapped a fin, then onto the 135 Switch for some twinny action. Big boosts, nice waves, I'm stoked!

Sorry to hear about the work thing guys, that must suck

I love strong wind

Very Good winds,

Kiterdan, saw you on the way home from work yesterday. Looked dark, windy and swell was up.

Drove by Leighton on way to work today and saw no one....conditions looked pretty good if a bit gusty.

Man, this work stuff really bites. My 7m has yet to get a go this year....more storms coming I hope. If Huey could just spread the wind out a bit so we get something on the weekend.

Yep I've been getting desperate for a kite kitecrazzzy but I did it, got up early and had a sesh at leighton. Wind dropped of a bit just as a got out, but picked up soon after and had a few good runs and little wave rides :)

"Way to go campers"...said the councilor. The strong and brave get the good stuff.

What time where you off the water? Drove by around 8:30 and even parked near Cott. to have a look. It was just beautiful, sun, big swell and certainly enough wind

Saw two kites later in the day on way home. Wind was dropping and still plenty of swell. I think I saw spacemonkey on smallish kite sucking water trying to get out....looked fantastic but a tough go, jealous. Wasn't even cold this afternoon........got to love them fronts.

Man you poor but lucky dude....you must be grinning ear to ear though

The person I saw at Leighton was struggling to get out, I can only imagine the power in that water. More work for the kite repair man.

Go Ecuador.

I was on the water at leighton from about 7:30 to 8:30. Ive got an orange 8m Sonic. The wind sure picked up, by the end of it I was real lit up.

It took me a few minutes to get out past the waves the first time, but the other times I was out within a minute. The water wasnt as big and rough as I thought it might have been, which was good.

That was the first time Ive had a pre-work kite. Tomorrow (21st) is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year, so from here on there's going to be more sunlight for kiting

You can borrow mine, but it ain't that warm unless you wear the hat with it.

I wish I wish I could go out, but that dam work is keeping me down.......looks like it is going to rock again. I want to kite so bad.

As usual, the BOM is predicting a decent E for Sat., you watch how those arrows go yellow and then red as the crack wears off.

Go Ecuador...........

Amazing how quickly we turn to potty talk.

Hope y'all get out tomorrow, if there is wind of course.

On cold days, nothing like a pre-warmed wettie.
