lol my wife reckons the same thing :)

It was because of the full fingers glove. As soon as I changed it, it went alright. I am now using the normal gym hand gloves and they'r fine.

As a climbing instructor id suggest using surgical spirit on your hands to toughen them. Rub some on each night. Thats what i do before going off to hit the granite

its just new hands mate , you should try windsurfing and then you'll know what blisters are. wearing gloves makes you grip more . been there wearing gloves when its snowing in the winter on the sea . keeps your hand a bit warmer but you cant grip properly. your hand will harden up and ditch the gloves. like some said earlier no pain no gain

all the best daz

I think you have some death grip going on. relax and loosen your grip. you can fly the modern kites these days with 1 finger. or maybe you have hands as smooth as a babies bum. i bet your missus is pleased.

fly one handed. i do about 50% of my flying one handed. you then have a spare hand to put a finger into the water. a finger slide is a must when your laying over on some henious angle pounding upwind on flat water. its even cooler to reach out and tickle the belly button of a wave face you are riding. or grab a board with.

barrier cream to keep the moisture out of your skin, cause thats your problem
(unless you're in your 90's, those are some messed up looking paws)
I also fly Rallys (LOVE THEM!!!) the bar is kinda hard but thats not causing your soft skin blistering.
Bar pressure on the Rallys is really light so no worries there either

I actually also think that the slingshot bars are among the worst on the market. They have no soft EVA grip and I can't understand why the hell Slingshot doesn't cover the ropes in some plastic rubber like all the other manufacturers. The ropes always tear up the skin between my fingers which is quite annoying!
