That's the way MB. When there is no electricty it is trad skills that will keep you out of trouble and there is fun in that.

No I don't think so, from what I heard Alex had all his alarms set to wake him ready to gybe onto a new heading. He just didn't wake and the electric wrist shocker was flat.

Once again GPS is handy but not to be relied on - unless having it suddenly stop working doesn't matter. I think Ive finally been convinced to buy a sextant and learn how it works.
