Ok so its installed and running nicely. Took it out yesterday to do the first hour of run-in. Tomorrow I will motor over to the slipway for the anti-fouling.
My only criticism so far is that it does not have any feature which allows the rotation to be locked. Given that my setup is static this is a real pain.
I now have to design my own device to keep the motor pointed straight forward without voiding the warranty. I also want to install some plumbing so the motor can be occasionally flushed with fresh water from onboard tanks.
Other than that, the remote control install was quite straight-forward and support has been fine. Once the hull is cleaned and the motor is run in I will be able to tell its full potential.
